Barbara Mascareno is the owner and founder of Spanish4Kiddos Educational Services, LLC. We support the K-12 education sector with English and Spanish digital products to enhance the learning experience in the classroom. Learning through play is the most fun. 

Barbara, a Spanish native speaker from Argentina, believes that teaching the language and culture is the most important aspect of education. Barbara, with enthusiasm and energy, she was able to develop different teaching techniques that can help children understand Spanish in innovated ways. Barbara also implements many of her science and teaching background in her projects and lessons to better grasp simple Spanish concepts.

When Barbara created Spanish4Kiddos Educational Services, LLC, it was more than an online resource for those that want to teach Spanish as a second language or support ELL students in the classroom. Spanish4Kiddos is a resource for parents that want to introduce simple Spanish concepts to their children with more than books and software. Spanish4Kiddos Educational Services, LLC is also the resource for those beginners in Spanish that want to refresh or pursue additional information.

This website dedicates the information to those teachers, parents, caregivers, and educators who want to expand the learning experience of children. All of the articles, worksheets, science projects, and experiments are thoroughly researched and tested. Bibliography and links included for additional information.

Barbara received a B. S. in Biochemistry from the Univ. of Houston, Houston, Texas in 1999 and a B. S. in Chemistry from the Univ. of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida in 2007. She worked in several chemical industries, but her passion was always teaching. Barbara also has performed extensive teaching in subjects as language, reading, algebra, chemistry, biology, and Spanish. She tutored under the No-Child-Left-Behind (NCLB) program in 2007 to prevent students from failing elementary school.

Barbara loves education, so much that she pursued her education degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). She continues her passion in secondary education teaching ELL students about science and Spanish. She continues to post more intriguing ways to teach and learn Spanish at any age.

She lived in Nevada along with her loving husband and her daughter for more than a decade. She now resides in the Western Slopes of Colorado with her loving family. If you don’t find her teaching in Spanish, science or math, she tends her garden, cooks, and of course, spends time with her family.
